We work extremely hard at what we do, and we want our music to be heard as much as possible! Thanks
In just 4 years the Billy Bauer Band have played some of the most prestigious music festivals & venues in America, including Musikfest (Bethlehem, PA) & the CMJ Music Marathon (NYC). They made their regional TV debut on Philadelphia’s NBC 10 Show, and opened for top billboard artist Uncle Kracker and indie star Pete Francis (of Dispatch).
A Bethlehem, Pennsylvania based acoustic rock group, the Billy Bauer Band lures music fans of all ages with their crisp sound and engaging melodies. Within just 6 months of their first show in 2006, the band landed a spot in one of the most prestigious independent music festivals in the world- the “CMJ Music Marathon” (New York, NY).
By 2009, the band made their regional television debut live on Philadelphia’s NBC 10! Show, and in the spring of 2010 they opened up for top billboard charting artist Uncle Kracker.
Along with playing some of the largest festivals in the nation including: Musikfest (Bethlehem, PA), Arts Fest (State College, PA), Mayfair (Allentown, PA), the band has also played some of the most prestigious rock venues in the world, including “The Bitter End” (New York, NY), played for crowds over 15,000 (Coca Cola Park, PA, Bryce Jordan Center, Sovereign Bank Arena).
Billy Bauer Band’s new single “Maybe Tomorrow” is due to release in late August 2010, and it can already be heard in all 19 Six Flags theme parks in Mexico, Canada and the U.S.
Listeners of the Billy Bauer Band are often reminded of the Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Paul Simon, and REM in a blender. ”Billy has got a Paul Simon- meets- John-Mayer -college style of singing which is easy on the ears and pleasant to listen to.” (Pulse Weekly, March 2007). CD & I-tune sales between their two studio released albums, “The Best of Both Worlds” (2005) and “Another Day Is Coming” (2006) have topped over 8,200 units since 2006. Bauer tours virtually non-stop with stops throughout the East Coast. Their imaginative song writing and unique instrumentation make their live performances a must see.
